President of Irish SocietyGreetings on behalf of the Irish Society of Charlotte,

The Irish society of Charlotte  (ISOC) is a social, cultural and educational organization founded almost 30 years ago in 1986. We are a great group in which young and not so young can get together and revel in our Irish heritage. We have 98 active members and our diversity is reflected in both our members and our officers of the Board.

We support many Irish groups in the Charlotte area and surrounds including two dance schools, Irish Book Club, GAA club, our fine musicians, our Irish pubs, The International festival and Charlotte’s ever growing St Patrick’s Day parade which we march in every year.

In the past we have sponsored many successful events in Charlotte including, Comhaltas Ceoltori, Cherish the Ladies and Dublin City Ramblers. We also have staged some plays by some of Irelands great playwrights.

We would love to have you join us for one of our socials, usually held monthly. We welcome all who have an interest in Ireland and its people and culture.  So come join us – the craic is mighty!
