Community.  Camaraderie.  Connection.

Welcome to the Charlotte Irish Connection…the community that celebrates all things Irish!  We are both a home away from home for native Irish, and a link to Irish heritage for Irish Americans.  And we welcome anyone with an interest in Ireland, its people and its culture.

The CIC is about celebrating and connecting with Irish Culture – from music and dance, to sports and literature. Above all, we are about community – a place to meet friends with common interests, to network, to get involved in outreach initiatives and to enjoy the ‘craic’!

Founded 30 years ago, we have over 250 active members from diverse backgrounds.  We support many Irish groups in the greater Charlotte area including two dance schools, GAA club, local Irish musicians, Irish pubs, an Irish Book Club, the International Festival and Charlotte’s ever-growing St Patrick’s Day parade which we march in every year.
